HAAKS®B.A.R.F Linseed oil
linseed oil is extracted from the linseed seed (Linum usitatissimum). This plant produces fibers that for centuries have used to make linen. Also as medicinal herb the flax plant has a long history, especially in combating inflammation and clogging.
Properties and operation
The oil derived from linseed oil is rich in alpha linolenic acid, an essential omega-3 fatty acid that is indispensable to health. Essential fatty acids are used throughout the body to protect cell membranes and play an important role in the growth and development of the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord). They are also used as a source of energy and are part of the compounds that regulate blood pressure, blood clotting, immune responses and fat degradation. Linseed oil would work favorably in a number of diseases, including
heart disease: the use of linseed oil is recommended for the prevention of heart disease and may serve as a (less fragrant) replacement of fish oil.
autoimmune diseases: linseed oil may prevent the immune system from attacking healthy tissue.
skin disorders: The essential fatty acids in linseed oil may have a beneficial effect on the skin.
Against various diseases
Numerous scientific studies show that linseed oil is not only preventative but can also act as repair support in diseases associated with disturbed metabolism, stress and negative environmental impacts. More and more doctors and naturalists price the medicinal quality of linseed oil. This oil has proved beneficial in allergies, diabetes and cancer.
Omega 3 champion
Linseed oil is the only oil containing more basic omega 3 fatty acids than basic omega 6 fatty acids. Contrary to what people think, fish are not an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids; linseed oil contains 20 times as much omega 3 fatty acids as in mackerel.
Essential fatty acids against cancer
The essential fatty acids in organic oils are not just healthy; they can prevent cancer! This is the case: cancer cells originate from ordinary body cells that have an oxygen shortage, so discovered by Nobel Prize winner Otto Warburg. These body cells have absorbed too many trans fats into the cell membrane, leaving the cell too little oxygen. Basic omega 3 and basic omega 6 fatty acids are oxygen scavengers. When essential fatty acids instead of trans fats are in the cell membrane, the risk of oxygen deficiency has become nil. Otto Warburg made his discoveries after 40 years of research and published his findings in 1967. Other professors and cancer researchers have ignored his work, especially because researchers wanted to seek cancer in the genes, something that has not yet been successful. Brian Peskin explains Otto Warburg’s findings, accompanied by scientific research, in a comprehensible way in his book, “The Curious Story of Cancer”. The role that essential fatty acids play in the body not only has a preventive and healing effect on cancer. Also the aging processes is counteracted. By the way, linseed oil can not cure any form of cancer; Cancer in a final stage is almost irreversible. Brian Peskin writes (in a personal mail) that natural oils can cure 99% of the cancer.
Linseed oil and diabetes
Linseed oil works well in diabetes. Blood sugar levels increase less quickly when eating linseed oil, which means less insulin is needed. Linseed oil is one of the foods that can reverse early diabetes. With the right nutrition, early diabetes can be cured.
